About the Fansite

Who Are You Guys?

We are going going WACK! Just a collection of diehard WACK fans who want to help spread the word. Originally from the GANG PARADE fan community (pretty pretty GANG), we’re expanding our horizons. Our goal for the website is to translate every single WACK song and for the Twitter, to post regular updates about releases and goods you can buy. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to DM us there and one of the team members will answer.

Đorđe no Jinsei (ジョルジェ・ノ・ジンセイ)

Also known as Fig. Used to live in Japan and graduated from university in Japanese studies. Currently looking for a job so if you need an N1 certified translator from Serbia, please reach out. Đorđe once got called “Yabai” by Watanabe while on Instagram Live. It’s true, he is.

Fleachin (フリーチン)

A plucky young lad from the last outpost of the British EMPiRE (we’re baiting so that Watanabe’s UK-obsessed ass books the groups in Hong Kong. Just go with it.) Cal influenced his dreams before they’d even met properly which was kind of like real-life foreshadowing for us hiring him.

Genki Denki (元キ電キ)

A man that moves like a marionette and also performs on stage like one too. Maybe the funniest team member. Likes Ca Non and lives in Bulgaria.
Twitter: @denzwei

Haisai Ponytail (ハイサイ・ポニテ)

The only Japanese member on this fansite dedicated to Japanese artists. Can play the drums really good and only goes to lives with friends. Miki oshi.
Twitter: @choJiku_pony

Shinsei Calture Shock (新生キャルチャー・ショック)

The cause of every problem and the fansite owner who actually quit for half a year before rejoining because he loves GANG PARADE that much. Despite studying Japanese at university for several years, he can’t talk in front of his oshi.

Alisa Anal (アリさアナル)

Helps with website stuff and general moral support. Hates her name.

Poteto (ホ。テト)

Also helps with website stuff and manga typesetting. If you’re on this page and thinking “what manga” it’s because we haven’t posted it yet. Also knew Pony in college.

Quick Q&A

Q: Can I use your translation for something?
A: Please ask first. The easiest place to reach us is through our Twitter DM’s. Linking is fine, screenshots on social media are fine as long as they have a link too. If you want to do a super cool fan project, ask and we well discuss among ourselves but taking and using something without permission isn’t okay, even if you post credit.

Q: Will you translate Pour Lui + Aina’s solo works and PEDRO? CENT?
A: Probably.

Q: Why so ambiguous?
A: It’s honestly hard to say because unfortuantely we all have real life responsibilities. Promising things and not delivering wouldn’t be good for anybody, so one day they’ll just drop as a nice surprise.

Q: Will you translate BILLIE IDLE or PIGGS?
A: BI’s relation to WACK was soley through Watanabe acting as a temporary advisor/quasi producer to NIGO who had creative control and managed the group, so… maybe? It would be a very far off project. PIGGS straight up are not a WACK group so no.

Q: Why is there a page for PIGGS now?
A: Life comes at you fast. Since we started the site, WACK started holding regular live performances in London, and PIGGS were invited to one of them along with ZOC and MAPA! We put those pages there because there was significant fan interest but we don’t have any fansite goals to translate their discography.

Q: Will you translate Totem Pole, the band on WACK x JMS’ joint sublabel JACK?
A: Absoutely nobody is asking this but just in case uhh… maybe?

Q: Will you translate this post-WACK idol/band/solo projects?
A: Highly unlikely, sorry!

Q: What about bands like PEDRO/CENT’s post-WACK works?
A: We’re a WACK fansite so once you leave you’re not our problem!

Q: Other than songs, what other projects do you have in mind?
A: Lyric videos and interview translations! We already have a lot of older GP interviews translated from pretty pretty GANG, but interviews are a lottttt more work than songs. We won’t promise anything we can’t deliver, but we’ll do our best!!

Q: Do you have a Discord?
A: No, but the GANG PARADE fansite does! Please keep in mind that it’s a GP fan community first and foremost so joining just to only post about other groups in the off topic channels is kind of weird.

Q: Sex?
A: Sex!
