“We are… WACK!” – Watanabe Junnosuke
The signal went down almost immediately after everyone woke up! Great start.
But as there was no redemption challenge on account of this being the last day, the first course of action was the marathon!
Yesterday, Toppo finished dead last because he took his time eating some disgusting fish sausages (understandable) but today, he finished far, far ahead of everyone else.
And after him comes Nag Rajun! They were very happy to see one another and had a touching moment
Also one of the staff members decided to join in
Afterwards it was time for breakfast, and the camera guy decided to film Nag’s legs for some reason.
They look healthy!
Then came a surprise announcement… Kasshu from WACKchin had shown up out of nowhere and was going to perform Orchestra with some of the staff members.
If you didn’t follow WACKchin too closely, Kasshu had… an off kilter sense of humor that really applied to Watanabe and a few fans.
He’s a fun guy.
And the performance was probably the best over the past few days.
After this deranged little excursion, the boys went back to practicing. The teams were based off of the fake-out elimination event last night with Team Dropout performing GAP and Team Survivor (who we convlutedly referred to as Team Non-Dropout on Twitter, sorry lol) performing Orchestra. It was a lot of practise, but then eventually… the time came.
There’s no way to describe these things in words, so just watch them yourself instead
Watanabe was proud of and happy with everyone. Then there was a short break, giving the guys time to write their final appeals. They reconfigured later…
…for their final appeals.
(which are slightly paraphrased due to the fact we were doing this live on twitter)
Kwen Sang Woo

At first, he wanted to become somebody that gets told they’re cute and cool, but he didn’t have the courage and couldn’t take those first steps. That’s when he decided to take part in the audition, so by taking that first step and coming here, he was able to change himself. The members gave him strength even when he was nervous in front of the cameras, and because of that, he was able to be strong, they became his strength. He wants to do even more from now on, so he’s counting on that continued support.
E Mazacon

By participating, he was able to show parts of himself that were hidden inside. At first, he felt overtaken by those around him, everyone else was so good at singing and dancing – he couldn’t show his true personality. It was frustrating, but not once did he think that the camp wasn’t fun. Performing as a group was fun and the staff really helped him a lot. He’s sad things are ending, but he’s thankful he could participate. And also, his wish to pass and debut is totally stronger than anyone else.
5 Chanming

He felt like he made many, many mistakes and nothing went right. It was painful, but he felt like all of the other members helped him a lot, and that’s what made him shine. At home, he’d play the guitar and compose his own songs, but this audition is what made him realise how much he loves music and that he wants to become a true artist.
i Zonsyo

His dream is to become an honest person. All the support made him not want to give up, even when he wanted to drop out. He feels like a crybaby and a loser, but when he was at his absolute lowest, Tasukukusu told him to hold on and never give up. He feels like he’s a weak person that wants to give up whenever something bad happens, but he wants to become strong. He wants to become like somebody from WACK.
Toppo

When he came last in the marathon, all of the members helped him get back up. Toady, he ran the marathon with the feelings of wanting to achieve his dream. He was able to enjoy the last performance and glad that he came to the audition. He’s greatful for everyone, Watanabe and the staff members.
Cha Nomuh

He thinks he’s grown a lot over the past four days! He was weak in everything at first, especially the skits. But he got so many opinions from Watanabe and the viewers, which he’s greatful for. His spirit broke many times during the audition, but he wanted to show everyone that he doesn’t want to give up. He didn’t know anything about WACK before applying, but now he’s positive that he loves everything about it; the music, members, and even Watanabe.
Ayuno K

He said he always ran away and would regret a lot, he couldn’t change as a person during WACKchin so he failed, and thought that it would all be over if he couldn’t change here. He thinks that during the past 4 days that he was able to break out of his shell, even just a little. If he debuts at WACK, he knows that there’ll be a lot of painful things, but also a lot of fun things.
Kong Buh

Nag Rajun

He has no regrets. His feelings are to absolutely pass this audition. 3 years ago, he regretted every single day, but he will take this chance now and pursue his dreams. He’s thankful for everyone, especially his family, for supporting him even in spite of his selfishness. By any means, he’ll debut as an idol.
Choi Tansok

Even if it was just 4 days, he thinks they were very meaningful. His daily life had no meaning or weight, but after encountering WACK he started thinking about what type of person he wants to become. He was scared of dying without doing anything meaningful, so when he heard there was a chance to apply, he did right away. The audition was very scary, but it’s the way he has to take to become the person he wants to be. He will continue trying like this, even in the future.
John Goku

When he started this camp, he was nothing but scared. But, he’s congratulating himself for overcoming the obstacles like marathons and death sauce. He thinks that all the things he learned here will help him in further life. Music is his knife, and he will try to pierce as many hearts with it as he can.
Wont Be Long

He wants to shine for someone, he wants to move someone. He has nothing but thankfulness for this audition and he was able to feel all the individual personalities at the audition strongly, seeing things from a lot of different viewpoints. He wants to go as far as he can with Watanabe and become “hope” for a lot of people.
Chin Bonbon

The 3/4 days were so long, but so short at the same time. He wants to make the WACK men’s group work – he wants to be that kind of man who can make things happen. He wants to become a person who saves people; a real man.
Che Jiming

He thinks he’s the cheerful type, but on the other side, he showed how he can also be insecure and half hearted. He faced that weak self , and he thinks he was able to break out of his shell. He wants to show even the uncool parts of himself to everyone, but he’ll also keep going, moving forwards, and he wants to show those parts of him too. He started rethinking his life when he came here, and getting out of the audition, he wants to become an entertainer, a star, as a WACK member. It’s a bit embarassing, but he loves everyone who supported him.
Tasukukusu

He’s standing here now, but that’s all because of people from WACKchin and WACKos, and he’s very grateful for that. He was very happy for the words Watanabe told him, and he was very moved upon finally meeting him in real life. He didn’t regret anything up to now. He felt a lot of pressure and responsibility for this, but while talking with everyone at the camp, he was able to shake off those feelings and enjoy the performances. He loves everyone there. Even at the last marathon, watching everyone’s backs and everyone cheering for each other made him think everyone there is very cool. He won’t give up until he’s able to stand in front of both Watanabe and Matsukuma Kenta as a WACK member.
Pe Youngn

He loves idols, a whole lot. They always shine so brightly! A few years ago, he was a chubby boy from a small village, so everything here was a first for him. It was scary, but very fun. As a hobby, he used to copy idol dances in his cramped bedroom, in front of a mirror, and back then he had no idea that he’d be able to show them to somebody in the future, let alone a lot of people. He will not forget anyone, or anything that happened earlier.
And then. We had to wait. For the very end.
For the last time, Watanabe came onto the stage and announced that there would be a men’s group.
And the debut members would be
- JOHN GOKUH
- CHiN BONBON
- CHE JiMiNG
HOWEVER,
There would also be another audition camp just before planned debut in the summer, and everyone who didn’t pass and those who did would be allowed to come back.
Then the victors, with a little encouragement from Watanabe after a small silence, cried out
