MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAi BOUSHO a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL 「WALK」 MV Locations

Mostly things are in the Brick Lane area in Shoreditch! ggWACK went to most of them with Joe, Aika the Spy’s uncontested overseas top oshi.

Aika’s lonely walk here is in Osborn Street. Unrelated to MAMESHiBA, if you keep walking towards Brick Lane, you’ll be able to see the Brick Lane Arch. Brick Lane is famous for being the heart of London’s Bengali community, and the arch was erected to celebrate their contributions towards UK culture.

Leona’s part with the ominous graffitti is down an alley, in front of an Indian restaurant called The Monsoon. If you choose to go down sketchy looking alleyways, ggWACK claims no responsibility for what happens to you, so please go during the daytime.

Nao’s emotional scene was filmed in Wheler Street! It’s close to Shoreditch High Street Station, so if you get an overground train it might be a good place to start out. The other shot is the same street, just facing the other direction. The corner shop in the back there is also good for snacks.

Aika’s second lonely walk was in Grey Eagle Street! Be mindful of any cars when you’re taking pictures though.

The bridge part here is in Allen Gardens. There are usually cars parked there so you might have to get creative with the angles for your photos. There’s also playground equipment on the other side which adults are free to use.

The tunnel here is Fleet Street Hill Tunnel. The grafitti changes a lot so unfortunatley you might not see Haunter there. Also, if you like movies, part of Children of Men was shot here.

Momoti’s solo parts are just up the stairs in the previous image, on the footbridge.

Now for the parts outside of the Brick Lane area. Aika here is standing in the middle of London’s iconic Piccadilly Circus! Based on the direction the busses are turning in and the station entrance to her right, this is Regent Street.

Finally, the song title drop is a reference to Oasis’ What’s the Story Morning Glory! Berwick Lane in Soho. This is a little bit away from Shoreditch so if you plan on hitting everywhere up, plan accordingly.

That’s everywhere you need to walk to to see the “Walk” shooting locations. And if you’re still hungry for more content, we have a lyric video too, with translation by Fleachin.
