Translator notes
(1) The original lyrics use the word “cuticle”, however, the translator decided to interpret it as “cutie-cool wrapping”, to retain the word play while still alluding to the actual functions of a cuticle.
(2) Barrication is the portmanteau of the words “barrier” and “vacation”. Kurochan wanted to express that Mameshiba no Taigun is not just “having fun” during the vacation, they’re also here to protect us– hence the usage of the word “barrier”.
(3) A facial gesture where you pull down on your lower eyelid with your finger, usually when you want to taunt or mock someone.
